So this is actually really weird because I swear I did this post last week but it’s not showing online so I will have to do this one again. We stayed over a week on the side of a Mountain in our first resort RV park which also houses Canada’s largest hot springs (at the resort!)…
We were amazed just pulling in, after the 3 hour drive from Cranbrook…
This area is known as the Columbia valley…
I saw the sign!!
Fairmont Hot Springs RV Resort is highly…highly… highly recommended.
It’s a pretty big resort. One side is RVs and the other is a hotel.
We went walking…all this is 5 Min from the RV…
Wow! This Bridge connected the RV park to the hot springs side…
I see them!!! Aaaahh so steamy…
We went exploring… 10 Mon drive south…
Cool cliffs…
We drove up a forest service road for almost an hour!!
#worthit
We got our first good rain storm…hail included…
So much water!!!
We drove north about 15 Min to the town of Invermere. I would live there!!
Small town of 3000 with a killer lake!
An awesome park…Anikka’s favorite to date…
Then came Father’s Day…
On a drive to a ski area…
Drinks…. We had a near death experience this day which I won’t elaborate on…but a guy sitting next to us at a restaurant had a heart attack… Scott basically saved him LOL…
Then more food…
Heres when anikka FINALLY told Scott Happy father’s day…
The view…
Happy dad!
We ended the day with a round of golf…
They had a Lakeside course and a Mountain course. We did the lake!
Driver…lol
Marmots everywhere!!
Anikka got my camera.
We took a massive 6 hour drive up north to visit Glacier national park of Canada. Totally worth the drive! We saw a black bear, Mountain goats, and big horn sheep!
Into the forest…would you go in there? It turned out to be an amazing 1/2 miles boardwalk!!
Yeeeeeah!!
We only stayed a few hours…but the drive was absolutely something I would do again.. even at 3 hours one way, with a toddler.
Then finished up the day at Radium Hot Springs! That makes 2 hot springs so far!
Radium Hot Springs is cliff side, making it one of the more famous hot springs..
We had an awesome time in Fairmont. Honestly I could live there. The weather was 60-75 degrees each day, granted it is mid June… 🙂 People are nice. Views are stunning… We could not be happier.
